Job summary

Draper in Cambridge, MA is seeking a Program Security Manager to be the single point of contact for security activities within a designated program office, coordinating with Programs and Engineering to integrate security into strategy and execution. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in security administration, 3–5 years in DoD/DoE or other industrial security, and current Top Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Understanding of the NISPOM and other industrial security standards.
• Knowledge of general physical, information and classification management systems for DOD environments.
• Able to be a strategic thinker and visionary in applying government guidelines.
• Possess business development and project management skills.
• Contract management abilities including review and generation of DD 254s.
• Knowledgeable in program management.
• Able to tailor a security program to support business needs.
• Able to create the security infrastructure for a large business.

Responsibilities

• Act as the single point of contact for all program office security activities.
• Initiate and mature security, business development and program management relationships for NISPOM activities.
• Ensure that security is a key element in all program office decisions.
• Integrate security in the strategic objective and the Program Management Team from initiation through execution.
• Coordinate with the program office’s Protection Team and with government and industry partners to ensure compliance.
• Direct and oversee the implementation of federal security regulations for classified programs.
• Coordinate with government agencies to obtain rulings and acceptable deviations for regulatory compliance.
• Prepare manuals outlining regulations and procedures for handling and record keeping.
• Administer program Security Classification Guides and training for employees.
• Review contractual documentation and implement processes to ensure compliance.
• Develop and manage security-focused training tools and secure area policies.
