Draper, an independent nonprofit R&D organization in Cambridge, MA, seeks a Program Manager 2 to lead complex national security programs under a long-term contract. You will drive program capture, planning, and execution across an R&D portfolio, building strong sponsor relationships and delivering on schedule and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, business, or a related technical field is required.
• Experience in program/project management of R&D or DoD-related activity preferred.
• Strong communication, scheduling and risk management skills are essential.

Responsabilités

• Own overall program execution, meeting cost, schedule, and technical performance targets.
• Establish project/program baselines and resource allocation plans.
• Lead cross-functional teams and manage customer relationships.
• Coordinate capture activities, proposals, and contract negotiations.
• Ensure quality control and adherence to the Quality Management System.
• Support win strategies and risk management across programs.
• Maintain effective oral and written communications with stakeholders.
