Job summary

Scale AI is seeking a National Security Policy Senior Manager in Washington, DC, to guide policy engagements with the National Security apparatus, Congress, and the Administration. The role reports to Scale's National Security Policy Lead and requires translating business objectives into effective policy actions.

You will coordinate with PSBU, prepare briefing materials, manage stakeholder relationships, and synthesize policy developments into actionable insights for Scale's leadership.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years experience in defense policy, government, defense tech, or related defense industry.

Responsibilities

• Support Scale's AI policy engagement with the National Security apparatus
• Work with the Public Sector Business Unit on DoD and intelligence programs
• Contribute to policy strategy and priorities
• Coordinate cross-functional collaboration and create templates/playbooks
• Prepare briefing materials and talking points for senior leaders
• Own stakeholder tracking and long-term engagement planning
• Provide administrative support for external consultants and executive engagements
• Draft internal updates on policy announcements and regulatory changes
