Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking an experienced Solutions Architect to support U.S. Government customers in the greater Baltimore area.

You will craft scalable cloud architectures, engage in deep architectural discussions, and help migrate workloads to AWS for Intelligence Community agencies. The role blends technical depth with customer-facing leadership, requiring strong communication skills and a strategic mindset to drive cloud adoption and revenue growth across a broad set of IC

Qualifications

8+ years in technology domains (e.g., software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, security, networking).
6+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
Experience communicating technical solutions to diverse stakeholders, including senior leaders and IT management.
Current, active US Government TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.

Responsibilities

Formulate and execute sales strategies to exceed revenue through AWS adoption.
Build and migrate applications and services on the AWS platform for Intelligence Community customers.
Educate customers on AWS value and participate in deep architectural discussions for successful cloud deployments.
Conduct training sessions to transfer knowledge and share best practices within the AWS solutions architect community.
Contribute to customer-facing publications and develop cloud architectures in collaboration with sales.
