Job summary

Simpson Strong-Tie is seeking a Retail Sales Representative to build relationships with National Retail customers in the IL/IA territory. You will install marketing materials, cross-merchandise, and support store-level merchandising teams.

The role requires 1–2 years of retail experience, strong customer focus, and proficient use of Office tools. This full-time position is located in Chicago, IL with 25% travel and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree preferred, plus relevant retail or sales experience.
• 1–2 years of related experience in retail merchandising or sales.
• Ability to build and sustain productive customer relationships.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Call on existing National Retail customers at store level, maintaining displays and POP materials.
• Coordinate with field teams to execute territory projects and initiatives.
• Maintain CRM records, schedule activities, and manage expense reporting.
• Travel up to 25% to support stores and regional accounts.
