The role requires extensive leadership, relationship management, and strategic execution with travel across the United States. A track record in commercial insurance distribution is essential.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive leadership experience within retail agency distribution.
• Deep knowledge of the commercial insurance marketplace, including agency distribution models and market dynamics.
• Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with agency principals, producers, and key distribution partners at national/regional/local levels.
• Strong leadership and talent development skills with experience coaching distribution leaders.
• Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills across all levels and external partners.
• Demonstrated success developing and executing distribution strategies that drive agency engagement and growth.
• Strong business acumen to assess market opportunities and translate insights into actionable strategies.
• Familiarity with evolving distribution technologies and digital tools shaping the insurance landscape.

Responsibilities

• Lead GUARD's Retail Regional Distribution organization, providing strategic direction to Regional AVPs and Directors across the country.
• Maintain a strong field presence, developing meaningful relationships with agency partners and key stakeholders while driving profitable growth.
• Evaluate and optimize regional structure, territory alignment, and field effectiveness to align resources with opportunities.
• Strengthen and expand relationships with agency partners at national, regional, and local levels.
• Partner with Product, Underwriting, Service, Marketing, and regional leaders to execute strategies for profitable growth and engagement.
• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing distribution leadership team with accountability and collaboration.
• Identify market opportunities, trends, and challenges, providing recommendations for long-term growth and positioning.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to align distribution strategies with company objectives.
• Establish performance expectations and monitor results for measurable outcomes.
