Job summary

Eastland Food Corporation, based in Jessup, MD, seeks a high-energy Sales Director, National Retailers to lead national accounts and drive new retail distribution. The role requires building buyer relationships, guiding broker networks, and pitching authentic Asian food brands to major chains like Target and Walmart.

You will manage a team, oversee budgets, and coordinate with Purchasing, Supply Chain, and Marketing to forecast inventory and promotional schedules. Travel 25-35% is expected.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of sales experience in consumer packaged goods (CPG).
• Proven record of selling to national retailers.
• Strong negotiation and presentation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Build and execute sales strategies to expand into national banners and mass retailers.
• Deliver buyer presentations, line reviews, and category growth pitches to major retail accounts.
• Partner with buyers to introduce line extensions and seasonal promotions.
• Direct and support broker partners for store-level execution.
• Collaborate with Purchasing, Supply Chain, and Marketing to align forecasts and promotions.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales team.
