This range is provided by Veterans Alliance. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.

Base pay range

$55,000.00/yr - $65,000.00/yr

Responsibilities

As a remote, home-office based National Aviation Recruiter, you will manage the end-to-end recruitment cycle for a diverse portfolio of clients with needs spanning a variety of skill sets across the Aviation, Aerospace, and Defense industries. Following are some of the responsibilities of a National Aviation Recruiter:

  • Guide candidates through the recruitment process by providing expert advice and coaching around resume building and interview skills to achieve a successful placement.
  • Proactively source veteran candidates using corporate and third-party databases, as well as social media tools.
  • Conduct in-depth interviews to evaluate, identify, and qualify relevant experience and technical skills to make hiring determinations.
  • Complete all recruiting related administrative tasks, to include applicant tracking system database integrity, completing reference checks, verifying DD214's, facilitating drug and background checks, creating job postings, and reporting on productivity, as required.
  • Ensure all recruitment activities are compliant with established processes, best practices, and legal requirements.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by handling inquiries and resolving problems arising with clients or field employees.

Qualifications

  • Must have at least one (1) year of aircraft maintenance staffing industry experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Aviation, Aerospace, or Defense skill sets and terminology.
  • Demonstrated experience of producing high level results as a National Recruiter.
  • Must have excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Ability to work independently and perform in a remote, home-office environment.
  • Prior military experience is highly valued but not required.

Compensation

  • $55,000 - $65,000 base salary depending on experience.
  • Lucrative weekly commission plan.
  • 100% employer paid benefits (medical, vision, and dental).
  • 3% contribution matching 401k plan after your first year of employment.
  • 10 paid holidays.
  • Unlimited PTO.
