The National Records Manager is responsible for the successful establishment and implementation of Records Management policies, procedures, and strategies for managing records at Segal offices. The position will provide expert guidance on records and information policies and practices, ensuring compliance with Company standards, regulatory and legal requirements, in a cost-effective manner. This role is integral to supporting long-term goals by planning, organizing, and maintaining our enterprise-wide records management program. It is also responsible for implementing Segal's goal of digitizing physical records.

The National Records Manager is a hybrid position with our New York office and reports to the Senior Director of National Facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with Business Units and administrative staff to create, implement and maintain Records Inventory using available database technology.
  • Collaborate with Legal Department and IT Project Teams to ensure user compliance with records retention, storage, and disposition activities.
  • Ensure appropriate Records Management Training for staff to comply with established requirements.
  • Ensure direct reports follow Company guidelines for data security and confidentiality.
  • Oversee inventory of boxed records, ensuring compliance with retention policies and storage protocols.
  • Oversee and negotiate national and local contracts with external parties while developing a road map to transition to digital records.
  • Minimum of 6+ years of experience leading a records management function.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience managing people.
  • Expert knowledge of physical and electronic Records Management principles, practices, and methodologies; ability to apply principles and theory to recommend practical solutions for real-world business challenges while following legal requirements for compliance records management.
  • Strong track record of developing, coordinating and leading initiatives that cross several functional areas and building strong working relationships.
  • Ability to communicate complex compliance and records management requirements effectively.
  • Hands-on experience in widely used records management software programs, Gimmal preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree is preferred.

The current salary range for this position is $90,000 to $100,000 plus opportunity for a discretionary performance bonus based on company profitability and employee performance.
