Job summary

Right To The City Alliance is seeking an Associate Director of Membership Engagement to oversee alliance-wide membership engagement, assemblies, and campaign strategy within the Organizing Department. You will supervise national staff, guide membership programming, and lead key events including elections and governance trainings.

Qualifications

• 8-10 years leading campaign plans and coordinating organizing teams
• Experience with housing justice policy and local/state campaigns
• Experience building multi-sector, multi-regional coalitions
• 4+ years leading local and statewide advocacy campaigns
• 4+ years leading campaign development and implementation
• 4 years of direct supervision experience

Responsibilities

• Lead alliance membership engagement, assemblies, and campaign strategy execution
• Supervise national organizing staff and oversee membership programming
• Coordinate governance, elections, and trainings on member governance and assembly model
• Direct recruitment and retention of member organizations and onboarding processes
• Oversee membership data, reporting, and base-building efforts
• Travel as needed; contribute to organizational culture and HR processes
