Job summary

Right To The City Alliance (RTTC) seeks a National Organizer to support the Homes for All Campaign and coordinate cross-member organizing across multiple states. You will guide campaign planning, base-building, and translocal organizing while strengthening member leadership and alliance governance.

Ideal candidates bring 4–6 years of base-building experience, strong campaign strategy skills, and a deep commitment to racial justice and feminist praxis within grassroots democracy.

Qualifications

  • 4–6 years of base-building and organizing experience in housing or aligned justice movements.
  • Demonstrated track record of leading campaign strategy development.
  • Experience coordinating multi-site or multi-state organizing efforts.
  • Experience supporting grassroots leadership development and governance structures.
  • Strong power analysis and escalation strategy skills.
  • Experience analyzing housing policy or landlord strategies.
  • Experience facilitating large, multi-stakeholder strategy spaces.
  • Commitment to racial justice, feminist praxis, and grassroots democracy.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate member recruitment, engagement, and retention across RTTC member orgs.
  • Lead field campaign support including phonebanks, textbanks, and canvasses.
  • Align Homes for All Leadership Assembly planning with cross-campaign strategy.
  • Coordinate Organizing Department strategy integration and political analysis.
  • Data tracking of engagement, participation, and governance activities.
  • Foster Transformative Praxis and democratic processes within the alliance.
