Job summary

Right To The City Alliance (RTTC) is seeking a National Organizer to advance the Homes for All Campaign and coordinate RTTC member organizations across the country. This role centers on campaign planning, base-building integration, and cross-member coordination to advance land decommodification, tenant power, and housing justice at the state and local level.

The ideal candidate is strategic, relational, and deeply grounded in grassroots organizing, capable of coaching leaders and guiding

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of base-building and organizing experience in housing, tenant, or allied justice movements.
• Demonstrated track record of leading campaign strategy development.
• Experience coordinating multi-site or multi-state organizing efforts.
• Experience supporting grassroots leadership development and governance structures.
• Strong power analysis and escalation strategy skills.
• Experience analyzing housing policy, corporate landlord strategy, or financial actors.
• Experience facilitating large, multi-stakeholder strategy spaces.
• Deep commitment to racial justice, feminist praxis, and grassroots democracy.

Responsibilities

• Support recruitment, engagement, tracking, and retention of member organizations.
• Plan and execute field campaign activities (phonebanks, textbanks, events).
• Coordinate across departments to ensure coherent power-building efforts.
