Job summary

Right To The City Alliance is seeking a National Organizer for Capital Strategies to guide capital deployment, perform loan diligence and underwriting, and support our movement for dignified, affordable homes. The role includes co-facilitating community governance and leading RTTC Loan Fund deployment, contributing to a national, justice-centered housing strategy.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years experience in housing development, community organizing, cooperative business development, or social impact investment fields.
• US-based and authorized to work in the US without restriction.
• Five+ years of facilitation experience, ideally leading groups through democratic decision-making processes.
• Willingness to go through a ~6‑month training program prior to starting full-time employment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee capital deployment including loan diligence and underwriting.
• Provide member support and accompaniment to stakeholders and communities.
• Co-facilitate our governance processes and lead deployment of the RTTC Loan Fund.
• Transition to full-time employment after the training period and contribute to organizational growth.
