Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to oversee commercial and industrial projects across the U.S. The role requires a bachelor’s in mechanical engineering or construction science and at least five years in project management, with OSHA-30 certification.

You will lead planning, procurement, and execution, manage budgets and schedules, negotiate with vendors, ensure safety and quality, and communicate with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Construction Science as stated.
• Minimum of 5 years of project management experience in engineering or construction.
• OSHA-30 certification.
• Proven experience with cost control, scheduling, procurement, and change order pricing.
• Strong negotiation, leadership, and communication skills.
• Experience with construction management and commercial projects.
• Ability to handle stressful situations with professionalism.
• Excellent MS Office skills and ability to learn new software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all stages of project life cycle, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, control, and closure.
• Develop and manage comprehensive project plans and schedules.
• Coordinate and manage all project resources, including procurement of materials and services.
• Monitor project progress and adjust to ensure successful completion.
• Manage project budgets, including cost control and change order pricing.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements with vendors and stakeholders.
• Ensure all project documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant with standards.
• Implement and maintain safety protocols, ensuring OSHA-30 certification requirements are met.
• Handle any issues with professionalism and diplomacy.
• Use MS Office and other software to manage projects and communicate with team.
