Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to oversee commercial and industrial projects across the United States. You will lead planning, procurement, execution, and closeout, ensuring safety, budget, and quality compliance on high-profile projects.

The ideal candidate brings a strong mechanical engineering background, 5+ years in project management, and proven ability to manage complex scopes with vendors and stakeholders. Travel and a competitive package are included.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Construction Science or equivalent qualifications.
• Minimum 5 years in project management within engineering or construction.
• Strong understanding of project management practices, processes, and standards.
• Proven experience with project documentation, cost control, scheduling, procurement, and change order pricing.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, leadership, and team-management skills.
• OSHA-30 certification and ability to manage safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all stages of the project life cycle from initiation to closure.
• Develop and manage comprehensive project plans and schedules.
• Coordinate procurement of materials and services.
• Monitor progress and adjust to ensure timely delivery and budget adherence.
• Manage project budgets, cost control, and change orders.
• Negotiate contracts with vendors and stakeholders and ensure documentation compliance.
• Implement safety protocols and OSHA-30 requirements and maintain project documentation.
