Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; 2 years in transportation, operations, or customer service preferred.
• Experience in customer-facing roles is highly desirable.
• Ability to master new software (various TMS systems) quickly.
• Strong communication tailored to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Review incoming orders and verify shipment details to meet timelines.
• Monitor daily shipment activity and communicate delays proactively.
• Respond to disruptions by investigating root causes with operations.
• Manage shipment changes (reroutes, expedited delivery) with feasibility.
• Communicate with customers via phone, email, and web portal.
• Identify opportunities to maximize revenue per load through routing.
• Inform customers about additional accessorial charges when applicable.
• Log interactions and resolutions for reporting and traceability.
• Track and capture customer award volumes to reinforce partnerships.
