Job summary

STG Logistics in Dublin, OH is seeking a National Customer Service Specialist within our Transportation Customer Service division. You will manage a dedicated portfolio of customers, ensure order fulfillment excellence, and proactively resolve escalated service issues to support long-term customer success.

You will be the primary point of contact, delivering clear, proactive communication with care and efficiency.

Qualifications

High school diploma required.
2 years in transportation or customer service preferred.
Experience in customer-facing roles is desirable.

Responsibilities

Order coordination: review incoming orders, verify shipment details, and ensure pickup and delivery timelines meet customer expectations.
Shipment tracking: monitor daily shipment activity, identify delays and communicate updates to customers.
Issue handling: investigate disruptions, coordinate with operations, and provide timely solutions to customers.
Service adjustments: manage shipments changes (reroutes, expedited delivery) balancing customer needs and feasibility.
Customer support: communicate via phone, email, and web portal to provide updates and answer inquiries.
Revenue optimization: analyze shipment details to identify opportunities to maximize revenue per load.
Charge clarification: timely communication regarding processing additional charges.
Record keeping: log customer interactions and resolutions for reporting.
Award volume management: track volumes and reinforce contractual compliance.
