Bayer USA is seeking an experienced National Account Director - Health Systems to drive sales and market growth within major healthcare systems, hospital networks, and value-based care organizations across the U.S. The role collaborates with regional leadership to execute strategies, develop plans, and lead teams toward ambitious targets.

Applicants should have extensive pharma sales experience in health systems, strong formulary knowledge, and proven leadership across cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Business, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Experience with hospitals, health systems, IDNs, and organized customers.
• Minimum 5 years of pharmaceutical sales in hospitals/health systems; cardiovascular products with heart failure experience preferred.
• Proven success in formulary and pathway adoption in health systems or hospital environments.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop a strategic account sales plan to achieve or exceed sales targets within health systems and hospital networks.
• Identify opportunities to grow product adoption with relevant RADs.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity to adjust sales strategies.
• Lead and coach RADs to achieve sales objectives; provide training with Learning & Development.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align strategies and report on sales performance.
