Chiesi Global Rare Diseases seeks a National Account Director, Government Accounts to lead access strategy for GRD products in the United States. You will negotiate with payers, build formulary access, and collaborate with market access and field teams to drive patient access.

The role requires 10 years in pharma with payer-facing experience and strong relationships with Medicaid Directors, CMS, VA, DoD, and related entities. Field-based with up to 75% travel, headquartered in the Midwest region.

Formación

• BS/BA required.
• 10 years related experience in pharmaceutical/biotech, 7+ years in payer-facing roles with rare/orphan products.
• 5 years working with State Medicaid Directors, Medical Pharmacy Benefit Administrators, and Federal agencies (CMS/VA/DoD/Tricare/Indian Health).
• Expert knowledge of US payer environment, formulary, utilization management and benefit management strategies.
• Existing relationships with key government accounts.
• Knowledge of reimbursement trends and Specialty Pharmacy/HUB services.
• Strong leadership, business acumen, and executive negotiation skills.

Responsabilidades

• Execute national account strategy to obtain optimal coverage, reimbursement, and patient access for GRD products.
• Negotiate contracting with US payers and government entities.
• Collaborate with Market Access, Field Reimbursement, Patient Services, and Sales to meet access goals.
• Build strategic relationships with Health Plans, CMS, VA, DoD, and other government stakeholders.
