Job summary

Mercury Hampton Ltd is seeking a National Business Development Manager for Food Service & Hospitality to drive growth across restaurant groups, hospitality operators and grocery retailers from a base in Illinois with a US national remit and significant travel.

Reporting to the VP of Sales, you will identify opportunities, open new accounts and develop partnerships with end users and channel partners to accelerate revenue.

Qualifications

• Five years of relevant sales or business development experience.
• Established knowledge of restaurant, hospitality, and grocery markets.
• Track record of winning new accounts.
• Experience selling through distributors or foodservice channels.
• Comfortable managing national opportunities and negotiating with senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Win new business across restaurant, food service, hospitality and grocery/retail accounts.
• Build relationships with senior decision-makers and develop opportunities with customers and channel partners.
• Work with distributors and channel partners to extend market reach and support sales.
• Develop a clear market plan, manage your pipeline and collaborate with Sales/Marketing to convert opportunities.
• Help customers understand the product portfolio and its applications.
