Job summary

bioMerieux in Huntington Beach, CA is seeking a National Field System Engineer to provide on-site installation, preventive and corrective maintenance for bioMerieux customers across the United States. The role requires strong electro-mechanical troubleshooting skills and the ability to manage travel and field actions.

Responsibilities include coordinating service itineraries, maintaining detailed documentation, and building solid customer relationships while supporting regional teams and company

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Engineering, Electronic Technology, Computer Science, Biomedical or related discipline.
• 2+ years troubleshooting and/or repair of electro-mechanical/electronic/electrical systems.
• Education substitution: 6+ years of relevant experience.
• Valid driver’s license in state of residence.

Responsibilities

• Installations, preventive/corrective maintenance and upgrades on bioMerieux instruments.
• Troubleshoot instruments to board or subassembly level using electro-mechanical skills.
• Travel regularly, including overnight/national travel, to support customers.
• Build strong customer relationships and identify service/sales opportunities.
• Complete service documentation and comply with quality procedures.
