Job summary

Komatsu US dealer network seeks a National Field Service Electrician for surface mining equipment across the US. Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems; travel up to 6 weeks at a time, working independently or with a team.

You will diagnose complex systems, perform inspections, document work, and ensure safety and reliability. Welding or machining experience is a plus; strong problem-solving and customer service are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Journeymade trade / technical certification in electrical systems, welding or mechanical preferred.
• Clean driving record and willingness to travel extensively.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs in the field.
• Install and configure electrical components and systems per standards.
• Conduct inspections and maintenance to improve performance and reliability.
• Document service work and maintain reports on job status.
• Provide exceptional customer service and build client relationships.
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to solve complex problems.
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices.
