Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineering Manager to lead the national electrical engineering practice. You will manage Regional Technical Leads and electrical teams across the United States, providing technical leadership, strategic direction, and oversight for diverse industrial, petrochemical, and power projects.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
PE license required or able to obtain.
15 years of related experience; travel may be required.

Responsibilities

Provide national leadership for the electrical engineering discipline.
Oversee and support Regional Technical Leads (RTLs) and electrical teams nationwide.
Establish and maintain discipline standards, design criteria, tools, and best practices across regions.
Lead, mentor, and develop engineering leaders and staff, supporting performance management and growth.
Drive growth of the electrical group through strategic hiring and resource planning.
Ensure compliance with codes, QA/QC, and safe, quality project execution.
