Job summary

MobilityWorks is seeking a Safety Manager to oversee and strengthen our workplace safety culture across locations nationwide. You will partner with regional leadership and facility teams to champion safe operational practices and ensure regulatory compliance.

You will lead CA SB 553/SAIRS initiatives, develop engaging training, and implement scalable safety programs for retail automotive operations while traveling to sites as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive EHS experience in multi-unit environments.
• Deep knowledge of Cal/OSHA; experience with CA SAIRS requirements.
• Willingness to travel to locations across the United States.
• ASP, CSP, or OSHA certifications preferred.
• Autonomous work style with nationwide scope.
• Strong written and verbal communication; interpersonal skills.
• Ability to translate regulations into practical guidance.
• Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Partner with store managers and regional teams to identify risk and safety solutions.
• Act as an advisor to influence safe behaviors at the shop level.
• Develop monthly safety checklists for locations.
• Conduct site visits and virtual consultations for compliance.
• Ensure nationwide OSHA and EPA compliance; manage CA SAIRS requirements.
• Design and deliver scalable safety training programs for retail automotive ops.
• Lead investigations into incidents with root-cause analysis.
• Manage workers' compensation data trends to target high-risk areas.
