Qualifications
Bachelor Degree with 17 years construction management or craft supervision on a similar project is required.
Associate Degree with 19 years construction management or craft supervision on a similar project is required.
High School Diploma/GED with 21 years construction management or craft supervision on a similar project is required.
Strong understanding of all construction disciplines.
Excellent communication and supervisory skills.
Responsibilities
Responsible for all on-site construction activities including safety, quality, controls, materials, subcontractors, contract execution, client interfaces and start-up/commissioning interfaces.
Direct and supervise on-site discipline superintendents, scheduling, engineering, cost control, material control, commercial management, and administrative staff.
Ensure project safety and compliance with Safety and Health Plans; review PTA and TSO documentation.
Oversee construction sequencing to align with design, budget and schedule.
Manage use of materials and equipment and subcontractor performance.
Develop client and subcontractor relationships and interface with client representatives and authorities.
Coordinate with Engineering Manager to plan engineering deliverables and resolve field items.
Prepare Project Execution Plans and site procedures; authorize field purchases; review subcontractor payments.
Provide technical interpretation of drawings and construction methods; generate progress reports and monitor 3-week look-ahead and schedule.
