Job summary

Burns & McDonnell in Dallas is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead mission-critical data center projects. You will coordinate multiple engineering disciplines, manage safety, cost, schedule and quality, and direct project teams.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's degree in engineering and at least 7 years of construction or program-management experience, with strong communication, problem-solving, and proficiency in MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field required.
• 7+ years of applicable experience preferred in construction, aviation, commercial, energy, government, manufacturing, oil & gas, process, transmission/distribution, or water sectors.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; attention to detail.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, demanding work environment and work overtime on short notice.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize and direct engineering projects including safety, cost, schedule and quality.
• Ensure project review processes and quality control guidelines are followed.
• Coordinate multiple disciplines and lead staff in project execution.
• Provide leadership and guidance to less experienced team members.
• Maintain client communication and, where applicable, marketing responsibilities.
• Utilize project management software for scheduling, cost control and documentation.
