Job summary

Vertiv Co is seeking a Project Manager for the Global Strategic Account organization to lead critical infrastructure and data center projects nationwide. You will drive pre-sales through commissioning, managing schedules, budgets, and resources while engaging stakeholders across multiple levels.

You will leverage Oracle, Smartsheet, and Power BI to execute projects and establish repeatable processes, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of project management experience.
• Experience with critical infrastructure (UPS, thermal, battery, monitoring) is a plus.
• Bachelor’s or Associates degree or equivalent experience.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical abilities.
• Proven interpersonal and multi-tasking capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from pre-sales through equipment commissioning.
• Define resources and develop the project organization chart with functional leads.
• Coordinate with order management, plant production, logistics, contractors, services, and warranty groups.
• Communicate schedule, budget, and scope with site teams and customers; visit sites as needed.
• Escalate issues and conduct effective meetings and presentations.
• Follow reporting and tracking programs to ensure quality, schedule, and cost targets.
• Manage project financials, including budgets, spend analysis, and margins.
• Promote a safety-first culture on each project.
