Job summary

Vertiv Co. is seeking a Sr. Project Manager to lead national critical infrastructure and data center projects, focusing on thermal, power, battery, and monitoring products.

The role emphasizes establishing repeatable processes from pre-sales to commissioning and strong cross-functional communication. You will manage project resources, budgets, and schedules, coordinating with multiple groups and field teams while leveraging Oracle, Smartsheet, and Power BI to drive execution.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management experience in critical infrastructure or data center environments.
• Knowledge of construction, electrical and mechanical contracting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong customer service mindset and stakeholder management.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor’s or Associate degree or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Utilize standard project management tools to achieve quality, financial and schedule targets.
• Define resources and coordinate with functional group leaders to develop the project organizational resource chart.
• Coordinate with order management, plant production, logistics, contractors, services, and warranty groups.
• Communicate schedule, budget, and scope with field resources and customers; visit sites as needed.
• Escalate issues to avoid impact to the customer; conduct effective meetings and presentations.
• Follow reporting and tracking programs to ensure on-target performance in quality, schedule, and cost.
• Manage project financials: budget creation, spend tracking, and margin maintenance.
• Promote a culture of safety; host periodic safety meetings.
