Job summary

Vertiv’s Global Strategic Account (GSA) organization is hiring a Project Manager to lead national data center and critical infrastructure projects. You will build relationships and processes from pre-sales through commissioning to ensure repeatable workflows and effective communication across multiple organizations.

The role emphasizes coordinating with order management, production, logistics, and field teams, and leveraging Oracle, Smartsheet and Power BI for execution.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of project management experience; critical infrastructure knowledge a plus.
• Knowledge of construction, electrical and mechanical contracting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Excellent project management skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Utilize standard Project Management tools to conduct the project effectively, achieving quality, financial and schedule targets.
• Define and obtain the appropriate resources required to fulfill the project scope of work; develop the project resource chart with functional leaders.
• Coordinate with order management, plant production, logistics, contractors, services, and warranty groups; escalate conflicts to protect the customer.
• Collaborate with jobsite and field resources to communicate schedule, budget, and scope; visit sites to build relationships with contractor and customer personnel.
• Escalate issues impacting project success; ensure timely resolutions and clear stakeholder communication; conduct effective meetings and presentations.
• Follow reporting and tracking programs to keep projects on target for quality, schedule, and cost.
• Manage financial performance on assigned projects; create cost budgets, track spend, and maintain margins.
• Promote a culture of safety; host periodic safety meetings for each project.
