Job summary

Storm4 is seeking a Senior Vice President of Construction for Data Centers to lead a national portfolio from preconstruction through turnover. This executive will own strategy, operating model, governance, and performance across multi-region developments while ensuring safety, quality, and customer commitments.

The role requires 15+ years in data center construction with proven leadership of large teams, strong commercial acumen, and deep systems knowledge.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive construction, engineering, or program delivery experience.
• Executive leadership experience within hyperscale, colocation, or mission-critical data centers.
• Proven accountability for a multi-project or multi-region construction portfolio.
• Track record of building and leading senior construction organizations.
• Experience delivering major capital programs from preconstruction through commissioning and turnover.
• Strong commercial budgeting, forecasting, contracting, change management, and claims resolution.
• Deep understanding of data center electrical, mechanical, controls, civil, structural, and architectural systems.
• Established relationships across the data center construction and equipment supply ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Own construction strategy and performance across a multi-region data center portfolio.
• Lead senior construction executives and build a scalable national delivery organization.
• Oversee cost, schedule, safety, quality, risk, commissioning, and customer turnover.
• Establish portfolio-wide governance, project controls, and construction standards.
• Drive capital efficiency, forecasting accuracy, and commercial performance.
• Build strategic relationships with general contractors, MEP partners, suppliers, and commissioning providers.
• Partner with Development, Engineering, Procurement, Finance, Commercial, and Operations leadership.
• Lead executive interventions and recovery strategies for high-risk projects.
• Improve speed to market through standardization, modularization, and modern construction methods.
