Job summary

5C Data Centers in the USA seeks a Vice President of Construction to lead a lean, high-impact Construction Delivery organization. The role requires strong field leadership and a track record of delivering complex data center campuses from site development to turnover.

You will partner with Planning & Development, Engineering, Procurement, and Operations to ensure safe, on-time execution, with accountability for safety, schedule, and cost. This is a hybrid position based in the United States.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive construction leadership experience in data centers or large capital programs.
• Demonstrated ability to lead senior field teams with accountability for safety, schedule, cost, quality, and turnover.
• Strong knowledge of data center interfaces across civil, electrical, mechanical, and commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Own safe, on-time construction execution from mobilization to turnover and customer handover.
• Lead a lean Construction Delivery organization and establish roles, decisions, staffing, and escalation paths.
• Partner with Pre-Construction, Procurement, Legal, and Commercial teams on strategy, scope, and risks.
• Ensure forecasts, critical paths, progress, and change exposure are accurate and decision-ready.
• Champion safety culture and drive first-time quality and turnover readiness.
• Integrate with cross-functional teams to align design readiness, long-lead equipment, permits, and logistics.
• Represent Construction Delivery in executive governance and customer reviews.
