Job summary

Office of the Director of National Intelligence seeks a senior leader to head counterintelligence and security activities across the U.S. government. You will direct interagency collaboration to detect, deter, and defeat foreign intelligence threats and report to senior policymakers.

You will coordinate strategy development, prepare executive briefings, and ensure alignment of enterprise objectives with national security priorities while guiding outreach and interagency engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience as determined by mission specialty area.
• Master's degree or equivalent experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead proactive counterintelligence and security activities across the United States government, integrating the instruments of national power to detect, report, deter, disrupt, investigate, exploit, and defeat foreign intelligence threats.
• Lead and manage a robust interagency team, including IC and USG partners, to counter foreign intelligence threats.
• Engage senior policymakers to coordinate strategy development and evolving requirements for mission and enterprise objectives.
• Prepare briefings, reports, and presentations for organizational leadership and senior officials to align IC programs with strategic goals.
• Oversee outreach with IC leaders and external partners to inform long-term strategy and assess progress toward objectives.
• Translate customer requirements into priority collection and analysis actions for national intelligence related to assigned missions.
• Advise senior IC leadership on priorities, gaps, and interdependencies, and communicate emerging strategic issues to inform improvements.
