Job summary

Withum is seeking an experienced Cost Segregation Senior Manager/Principal to build and lead a national Cost Segregation practice. The role requires deep technical expertise, strong leadership, and business development capabilities to expand services across the country.

You will drive market growth, mentor teams, partner with firm leadership, and deliver engineering-based analyses for diverse real estate assets, with significant client exposure and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field required.
• Master's degree, CPA, or other credentials preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in cost segregation, tax consulting, engineering-based tax services, or related field.
• Experience leading and growing a professional services practice or business unit.
• Demonstrated expertise in cost segregation methodologies, tangible property regulations, and depreciation strategies.
• Strong business development experience with a track record of revenue growth.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage cost segregation engagements from opportunity assessment through final delivery.
• Perform and review cost segregation studies for commercial and residential properties.
• Advise clients on appropriateness and benefits of cost segregation services.
• Research and document applicable tax laws, regulations, and IRS guidance.
• Provide strategic tax planning to maximize deductions and improve client cash flow.
• Identify additional tax-saving opportunities for clients.
• Stay current on regulatory and industry developments impacting cost segregation.
