Job summary

Gypsum Management and Supply seeks a Corporate Claims Manager to lead a national claims portfolio, including property, general liability, auto liability, and workers’ compensation. You will manage investigations, TPAs, and settlements while guiding risk strategy and cost control.

This hybrid role requires strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills to partner with executives, legal counsel, and carriers across the US and Canada.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required and 5+ years in claims administration, risk management, or insurance operations.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office and strong knowledge of property, liability, and workers’ comp claims handling.
• Experience managing multi‑jurisdictional US/Canada claims and high claim volumes.
• Ability to analyze data, negotiate settlements, and communicate with executives, counsel, and carriers.
• Superior organizational skills with ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned Property, General Liability, Auto Liability, and Workers’ Compensation claims across the US and Canada.
• Lead post‑accident investigations and oversee TPAs to ensure compliant handling.
• Review reserve changes and payment requests for accuracy and necessity.
• Provide settlement recommendations aligned with risk strategies and company goals.
• Communicate financial impact of claims to local leadership and executives.
• Collaborate with insurance carriers, counsel, and risk management teams on settlements and risk reduction.
• Prepare quarterly litigation reports and analyze claim trends and exposure.
• Support analysts with meaningful claims metrics and data transmissions between TPAs, RMIS, and actuaries.
