Job summary

AE2S is seeking a Civil Practice Leader to direct and grow the national civil engineering practice across our expanding geographic footprint. This senior role focuses on elevating technical excellence, expanding service offerings, and developing leaders across multiple states with heavy collaboration across operations, client development, and strategy.

You will lead strategic direction, mentor engineers, and help win major pursuits while maintaining strong client relationships and high-quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• 10+ years of site civil or municipal engineering experience.
• 2 years of leadership experience leading teams or practice areas.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively with clients and employees.
• Willingness to travel periodically for conferences and pursuits.

Responsibilities

• Set and drive the national vision for the civil engineering practice.
• Partner across regions to grow teams, capabilities and marketing presence.
• Lead technical direction and elevate quality across all civil projects.
• Anticipate and operationalize emerging trends in the civil practice.
• Represent AE2S in industry through client advisory roles and conferences.
• Mentor engineers and staff across offices.
