Job summary

Insurance Office of America seeks a National Analytic Consultant – Employee Benefits to lead national data analytics, underwriting support, and client insights. This role partners with Benefits teams, Producers, and clients to deliver data-driven decisions that optimize program performance.

The ideal candidate brings 5–7 years of analytics experience, strong communication, and proficiency in Excel and BI tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, or related field
• Strong analytical and consultative skills for data-driven decisions
• Knowledge of underwriting and healthcare pricing principles helpful

Responsibilities

• Data analytics leadership across underwriting, claims, financials and benefits data
• Provide data-driven recommendations to support carrier pricing and negotiations
• Deliver insights to aid client understanding of risk, trends and program performance
• Support renewals, prospecting, and business development with analytical input
• Create reports, dashboards, and financial exhibits communicating complex data clearly
• Develop and maintain analytics methodologies and best practices
• Evaluate analytics tools and optimize technology to improve client outcomes
• Analyze trends and benchmarks to identify optimization opportunities
• Collaborate with Senior Analytic Consultants, Producers, and client stakeholders
• Communicate analytical findings and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Provide analytical guidance and knowledge sharing to team development
• Maintain knowledge of underwriting methodologies and industry trends
• Ensure compliance with company policies and analytical procedures
• Model IOA values in all interactions
