Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, or related field.
• Knowledge of underwriting, manual rating methodologies, funding arrangements, healthcare pricing tools, and financial risk assessment principles
• Understanding of experience rating, claim cost projections, and data-driven financial analysis
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving, and consultative solution-development skills
• Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and customer service skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Ability to interpret complex data and communicate findings to both technical and non-technical audiences

Responsibilities

• Data analytics & interpretation to support client strategy and decision-making.
• Underwriting support: develop recommendations for carrier pricing, negotiations, and funding analyses.
• Client consulting: deliver data-driven insights on risks, trends, and program performance.
• Sales support: provide analytical help for renewals, presentations, and business development.
• Reporting & presentation: create dashboards and financial exhibits for clear communication.
• Analytics process management: establish methodologies and standards.
• Technology optimization: evaluate BI tools to improve outcomes.
• Performance analysis: identify opportunities from trends and metrics.
• Process improvement: implement efficiency and accuracy enhancements.
• Stakeholder collaboration: work with teams and carriers to meet objectives.
• Communication: share findings and recommendations clearly.
• Training: share knowledge to grow team capability.
• Technical expertise: stay current on underwriting methods and market trends.
• Compliance: adhere to policies and procedures.
