Job summary

Fastenal is seeking a Manufacturing Sales Specialist in Wallingford, CT, to sell all aspects of Manufacturing Services including precision machining, hot forging, cold forming and stud bolting. You will focus on developing new account sales within the National Accounts program, working with district managers and branch teams.

The full-time role requires travel, strong communication skills, and a drive to meet growth goals.

Qualifications

Must be 18 years or older.
Hold a valid drivers license and meet driving record requirements to operate a company vehicle.
Bachelor's degree in Business/Marketing/Manufacturing Engineering or 3 years of sales experience.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Proficient computer skills.
Must be motivated to earn commission after the training period.
Willingness to travel.
Demonstrate ambition, innovation, integrity and teamwork.
Lift, slide, carry and lower packages weighing 25lbs-50lbs (up to 100lbs occasionally).
Pass the required drug screen (US, Puerto Rico and Guam).

Responsibilities

Target opportunities to grow manufacturing sales by working with National Accounts, District Managers and branch key account sales force.
Facilitating and executing growth goals of the Manufacturing Center.
Developing, selling, and implementing programs to grow manufacturing industry sales.
