Qualifications

• Previous sales, publishing, bookselling, or related account experience; direct selling experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maximize sales growth by acquiring initial orders and identifying reorder opportunities.
• Prepare and present relevant frontlist and backlist titles and promotions to Barnes & Noble.
• Attend and participate in internal meetings (launch, sales, marketing, publisher meetings).
• Work closely with client publishers on title positioning and account strategy.
• Meet with Barnes & Noble regularly, in person and virtually, to sell lists and analyze sell-through.
• Monitor sales and inventory trends to identify opportunities for reorders and distribution.
• Communicate regularly with sales management and publishers about account activity and strategy.
