Job summary

Johnson Controls, Inc. is seeking a NA Deficiency Sales Specialist to drive quoted service sales for life safety systems, including fire alarm and security. You will create service requests, partner with estimators, and notify the local office when scheduling is needed.

You will follow up on approvals, answer questions about quotes, and ensure purchase orders are obtained where required. Strong communication and MS Office skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
• Must be able to work with minimal supervision.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Previous inside sales experience preferred.
• Previous industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive prepared quotes and submit for customer approval via email or portal upload.
• Follow up with customers on approval status via email and phone at set intervals.
• Answer customer questions about their quotes.
• Ensure receipt of a purchase order when required.
• Create service requests for all approved quotes and notify the local office for scheduling.
• Perform other duties as required.
