Allianz Commercial in California is seeking a National Accounts Liability Underwriter based in Los Angeles or San Francisco. You will underwrite profitable new and renewal National Accounts Liability business, leveraging established broker and insured relationships.

You will collaborate with Risk Consultants, Product Development and Claims, while driving marketing initiatives and delivering data-driven decisions. The role supports a hybrid work model and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in National Accounts Liability underwriting.
• Ability to build and foster relationships internally across the organization and externally with broker partners.
• Technical skills to analyze complex data/information from multiple sources.
• Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills, especially Excel.
• Ability to express ideas clearly, both written and verbally.
• Thought leadership with ability to persuade and motivate others to act.
• Ability to utilize AI tools to support day-to-day tasks and data-driven decisions.
• Solutions orientation with an entrepreneurial spirit.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite new and renewal National Accounts Liability business, negotiating price, terms and conditions with brokers.
• Drive marketing initiatives and build strong broker relationships through service and technical guidance.
• Collaborate with Risk Consultants, Product Development and Claims to develop client solutions.
• Lead or participate in key projects that impact results.
