Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Zone Leaders, Team Leads and Underwriters within National Accounts Liability to underwrite profitable new and renewal business.
• Have management oversight of large/critical accounts and ultimate responsibility for National Accounts portfolio.
• Lead and develop a senior team, including training and development; act as referral point for other underwriters.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with brokers and clients.
• Develop underwriting strategy for National Accounts, Liability and manage referrals from underwriters.
• Oversee large/critical new and renewal accounts to meet top and bottom line targets; negotiate participation, pricing and terms.
• Ensure contract certainty and use of pricing tools; manage reinsurance where applicable.
• Support acquisition of new business and retention of existing business; liaise with Distribution on market initiatives.
• Represent Allianz Commercial externally to the market; collaborate with various functions to improve processes.
