Avatar Natural Foods seeks a highly organized National Account Manager to oversee key retail relationships and our broker network across Bettr Bowls and Cali Crumble. You will manage retailers, distributors, and brokers, driving growth through new products, distribution, and promotions.

The role requires experience in F&B account management, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to travel for buyer meetings and trade shows.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years in account management or sales in food, beverage, or consumer packaged goods.
• Experience with grocery retailers and managing external sales brokers.
• Strong communication, organizational, and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage relationships with retail buyers, distributors, and sales brokers.
• Lead broker meetings, set account priorities, and track performance against goals.
• Hold brokers accountable for outreach, presentations, follow-ups, and results.
• Grow existing accounts through new products, distribution, and promotions.
• Manage retailer timelines including category reviews, launches, and promotions.
• Coordinate samples, pricing, proposals, presentations, and customer docs.
• Monitor sales by account and SKU; identify gaps and actions to improve performance.
• Collaborate with production, logistics, finance, and R&D to support customer needs.
• Maintain accurate account records, forecasts, and sales pipeline.
• Provide leadership with concise updates on results, priorities, risks, and next steps.
