Job summary

Burnett Staffing Specialists is seeking a Market Development Manager to grow national accounts by selling recurring industrial service solutions across multiple industries. This hunter-minded role focuses on identifying opportunities, engaging executives, and closing multi-site service agreements.

You will develop customized proposals, collaborate with operations, and maintain CRM activity, with travel of about 50-70%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of successful B2B outside sales
• Experience selling industrial services or recurring B2B solutions
• Strong prospecting, presentation, negotiation, and closing skills
• Ability to build relationships with decision-makers at all levels
• Experience using Salesforce or other CRM platforms preferred

Responsibilities

• Identify, prospect, and develop new national and regional accounts
• Generate new business through cold calling, networking, referrals, and events
• Maintain a healthy sales pipeline focused on recurring revenue
• Develop customized service solutions and multi-site, multi-year contracts
• Meet and exceed revenue and growth objectives
• Coordinate site visits, pricing, and proposals
• Maintain CRM activity, forecasts, and pipeline reporting
