Job summary

Terranea Resorts in Rancho Palos Verdes seeks a Director of National Accounts (On-Site) to drive group business across a national region and serve as a product expert to the meetings industry.

The role requires proactive sales, extensive planning, and a willingness to travel. You will lead key accounts, coordinate site inspections, and collaborate with resort departments to deliver exceptional group experiences.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a group sales or closely related direct sales role.
• Experience with world-class resort and Forbes 4/5 star properties preferred.
• Knowledge of account and yield management systems; strong financial acumen.

Responsibilities

• Proactively solicit new business through phone calls, emails, meetings, and events.
• Direct a majority of time to telephone sales, email prospecting, and cold calls within assigned market.
• Make site visits to target areas and call on prospective clients.
• Schedule and conduct meetings and site inspections for assigned territory.
• Maintain relationships with meeting planners and hotel industry associations.
• Manage sales forecasting, budgets, and travel planning.
• Collaborate with resort departments to deliver exceptional group experiences.
