Job description

Start: immediately in Chicago/Rosemont, IL / United States

Permanent position, Full-time

The National Account Manager - Convenience Stores channel is responsible for managing and growing strategic corporate partnerships, including 7-Eleven and Speedway, between HARIBO and our convenience store channel customers, along with assigned broker selling partners. This involves corporate headquarter calls and visits at national c-store chains, including 7-Eleven, as well as partnerships with broker selling partners. The National Account Manager will develop accurate sales forecasts for wholesale distribution of HARIBO of America products, aiming to meet or exceed sales goals, by collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.

This is a remote, field-based position. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of sales experience in the CPG industry, prior experience selling into the convenience stores channel, the ability to travel up to 40% nationwide, a Bachelor's Degree, and experience calling on headquarters. Experience calling on 7-Eleven headquarters is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute strategies to meet sales and market share goals for assigned accounts, including 7-Eleven
  • Manage and develop relationships with headquarters of national convenience store chains
  • Lead and collaborate with brokers to implement plans within assigned accounts
  • Create and achieve accurate sales forecasts to optimize production and demand, minimizing out-of-stocks
  • Own operational responsibilities to achieve sales targets and KPIs
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of strategic sales experience in the CPG industry
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field
  • Experience calling on corporate headquarters
  • Knowledge of customer and syndicated data tools (IRI, Circana, Nielsen, etc.)
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 40% nationwide, including overnight stays
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience selling into the convenience store channel
  • Experience with 7-Eleven and Speedway, especially calling on 7-Eleven headquarters
  • Experience with candy, confectionery, or salty snacks
  • Experience managing trade spend
  • Experience in category analytics and fact-based selling
Compensation and Benefits

Target salary range: $135,000 - $155,000 annually. This range may vary based on education, experience, skills, and location. HARIBO offers a comprehensive benefits package.
