Job summary

Position Summary

Responsible for Retaining, Growing, and developing New Multi-Business Customers. Activities will support individual Business Units with a focus on organic sales growth. The National Account Manager will be the face of Welch Packaging Group to our customers at their corporate locations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for assigned multiple business unit customers relationships at Corporate and Local levels
  • Develop & maintain Executive Relationships with assigned customers
  • Responsible for identifying & communicating potential MBUC opportunities to the Group
  • Responsible for developing new to Welch Pkg. relationships with impactful MBUC’s yearly
  • Responsible for Growing current large enterprise/multiple location customers through new opportunities or expanding additional locations
  • Schedule and conduct Quarterly Business Reviews with our customers at the corporate level
  • Travel to the Business Units to assists with existing customers and identify new opportunities
  • Works closely with local service reps including providing performance evaluation of their customer support activities
  • Knowledgeable on products, services, machine limitations for all BU’s
  • Networking – locally, professional trade shows and publications
  • Negotiating contractual discussions – working closely with GM & VP of Group Sales
  • Works in tandem with Local Service to find and present proactive cost saving ideas to customer
  • Coordinate price adjustments for multiple business unit customers
  • Provides weekly updates prior to call with VP of Group Sales
  • Keep updated records of all personnel at our customers in a safe but accessible location

Position Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related field preferred
Experience:
  • Previous sales experience, preferrable in the corrugated industry
  • Advanced Excel Experience
  • ERP Software experience. Amtech preferred
  • Sales Negotiation and Contract experience
Work Environment and Physical Requirements

Must be able to travel regular within a 2-3 state business
