Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow assigned national and regional retail accounts while achieving sales, margin, and distribution objectives.
  • Develop and execute customer business plans that align with company goals and drive profitable growth.
  • Identify opportunities to expand distribution, increase assortment, secure promotional programs, and win incremental business.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with buyers, merchants, category managers, brokers, and key customer stakeholders.
  • Prepare and deliver customer presentations, line reviews, product launches, and business reviews.
  • Analyze sales performance, POS data, inventory trends, and market insights to identify opportunities and develop action plans.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Product Development, Supply Chain, Customer Service, and Operations to ensure successful execution of customer programs and product launches.
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts, promotional calendars, and customer business plans.
  • Monitor competitive activity, industry trends, and retailer strategies to identify opportunities and strengthen our market position.
  • Represent the company at customer meetings, line reviews, trade shows, and industry events.
  • Partner with internal teams to ensure customer commitments are executed accurately and on time while helping continuously improve cross-functional processes.
  • Contribute to a collaborative, high-performing sales culture by sharing ideas, supporting teammates, and helping drive continuous improvement across the National Sales organization.

Job description

The National Account Manager is responsible for driving profitable growth across assigned national retail accounts within the Mass, Food, Drug, Value (FDV), and Specialty channels. Reporting to the Director of National Sales, this role is focused on developing strategic customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, expanding distribution, and executing account plans that deliver sustainable sales growth.

The ideal candidate is a motivated, relationship-driven sales professional with 2–5 years of experience in Consumer Products or CPG sales who is eager to take on greater account ownership and grow within a dynamic National Sales organization.

Location: This is a hybrid position, with a schedule of 4 days remote and 1 day onsite per week at our Plainview, NY headquarters.

  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and comfortable working independently while collaborating across functional teams.
  • Willingness to travel as needed for customer meetings, line reviews, and industry events.

The hiring range for this hybrid position is between $70,000.00-85,000.00 per year, commensurate with experience.
