Job summary

Pierre Fabre Pharmaceuticals is seeking a National Access Director to lead payer education and access preparations for Tab-cel across the US, coordinating pre- and post-approval activities and ensuring timely coverage decisions.

You will engage with national and regional payers, care sites, and internal teams to support reimbursement readiness, coding discussions, and patient access initiatives in a fast-paced, startup-like environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; healthcare degrees desirable.
• 10+ years biotech/pharma with at least five years in coverage and reimbursement of complex advanced therapies (cell therapy, gene therapy).
• Strong knowledge of inpatient and outpatient reimbursement dynamics and hospital access economics.
• Experience with cell and gene therapy networks and payer relations at payers that manage such products.
• Strong presentation skills and executive presence.

Responsibilities

• Educate payer segments on the value proposition of Tab-cel at sites of care.
• Support pre- and post-approval information exchanges with payers to enable timely coverage decisions.
• Monitor payer trends, policy changes, and implications for access strategies.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Field Medical Directors and national accounts to align on access goals.
• Assist with prior authorization processes and single-case agreements as needed.
• Prepare treatment centers to be reimbursement ready before and after anticipated approval.
