The University Of The Incarnate Word is seeking a Graduate Assistant responsible for the operations of the UIW Natatorium. This role involves scheduling and supervising lifeguards, managing facility maintenance, and coordinating swim meet events.
The ideal candidate is a UIW graduate student with previous lifeguard experience and should possess strong communication skills. Compensation includes a tuition waiver and $13.00 per hour for up to 25 hours a week.
The Graduate Assistant is responsible for the operations of the UIW Natatorium; this includes scheduling and supervising daily lifeguard coverage, cleaning, maintenance and repair of equipment and the facility (including dressing rooms). The Graduate Assistant reports to the Director of Sports and Wellness. This is a student position open to UIW graduate students.
UIW Graduate Student.
At least one (1) year of previous lifeguard experience.
One (1) year experience in pool program/setting, sports management atmosphere.
Tuition waive and $13.00 per hour over 20 hours, up to 25 hours.
